Trainor engaged to former child star

MEGHAN Trainor has shared a video on Instagram of the moment her boyfriend proposed to her on her 24th birthday.

The All About That Bass singer revealed that boyfriend, Spy Kids actor Daryl Sabara, 25, had got down on one knee and popped the question.

"I SAID YESSSS!!!!" she wrote. "For my 24th birthday, the love of my life @darylsabara made all of my dreams come true."

"He proposed to me under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends. I'm still in shock. I've never been this happy!

"Thank you Daryl, my family and friends for making me feel like a real princess and thank you for this amazing video that I'm gonna watch over and over again," she said.

He proposed while her song, Hopeless Romantic, played.

They were then greeted by friends and family who congratulated them.

"Happy birthday to my soulmate," he captioned the touching video. "Thank you for changing my life forever and thank you for saying yes! You are the most beautiful fiance in the world. I love you."

Trainor and Sabara have been together for over a year.

She told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year that they both learned sign language when she was ordered to stay silent to recover from vocal surgery.

"It was tough," she said. "The real trooper was my boyfriend because he learned sign language for me. I would spell out words for him. He just stuck with me through it. He was great ... He's better than whatever I wished for."

Sabara started his acting career as a baby, playing Candice Bergen's newborn on Murphy Brown.

He is best known for his role as Juni Cortez in the Spy Kids movies and now does a lot of voiceover work in TV series like Ben 10.
